Approximately 270 km from Cape Town

Take the N1 highway in the direction of Paarl – There is a tollgate on this road, just before the Huguenot Tunnel.

Once through the tunnel, take the second turnoff to the right into Worcester (R60) – Follow the signs towards Robertson.

Drive through Robertson along the R60 to Ashton.

Proceed through Ashton – the R60 becomes the R62.

Carry on through Kogmanskloof and Montagu.

Through Montagu drive approximately 43 km on the R62 and turn left at the signs "Die Vlakte" and Sanbona Wildlife Reserve. Stay on the gravel road for another 7 km, then you will reach the main gate. There our guests will be greeted, and you will be explained how to find the lodge. Directions to the lodge were emailed to you in advance with the booking confirmation. From the gate it is another 9 km to the White Lion Lodge.

Follow the Khani Lodge sign until you come to a Private Lodges sign. Turn left at this sign and continue until you reach Lodge 22, the White Lion Lodge.

Von Kapstadt über N1Entfernung ca 270 km  Nehmen Sie die Autobahn N1 in Richtung Paarl – Kurz vor dem Hugenottentunnel befindet sich eine Mautstelle.Nach dem Tunnel nehmen Sie die zweite Abzweigung rechts nach Worcester (R60) – Folgen Sie den Schildern in Richtung Robertson.Fahren Sie durch Robertson entlang der R60 nach Ashton.Fahren Sie durch Ashton – die R60 wird zur R62.Fahren Sie weiter durch den Kogmanskloof und Montagu.Wenn Sie durch Montagu sind, fahren Sie ca. 43 km auf der R62 und biegen bei den Schildern "Die Vlakte" und Sanbona Wildlife Reserve links ab. Bleiben Sie noch 7 km auf der Schotterstraße, dann erreichen Sie das Haupttor. Dort werden unsere Gäste begrüßt und Ihnen wird der Weg zur Lodge erklärt. Eine Wegbeschreibung zur Lodge wurde Ihnen vorab mit der Buchungsbestätigung per E-Mail zugesandt. Vom Tor sind es noch 9 km bis zur White Lion Lodge.Folgen Sie dem Khani Lodge-Schild, bis Sie zu einem Private Lodges-Schild kommen. Biegen Sie an diesem Schild links ab und fahren Sie weiter, bis Sie Lodge 22, die White Lion Lodge, erreichen.

Cross over Sir Lowry's Pass, drive past the towns of Caledon and Riviersonderend until you reach the Stormsvlei junction. Turn left to Stormsvlei and continue to Bonnievale. In Bonnievale, turn right at the first stop sign, direction Montagu (500 meters after the T-junction). You drive in half a left circle around a church and then turn left towards Montagu.At the next T-junction, turn left onto the R60 and at the next junction, turn right onto Route 62, towards Montagu.Continue through the Kogmanskloof Pass to Montagu.

Take the R62 from Oudtshoorn to Barrydale, via Calizdorp, Zoar, Ladysmith, 176 km.

From Barrydale follow the road towards Montagu and turn right onto a gravel road 20 km after Barrydale at the sign "The Vlakte" and Sanbona Wildlife Reserve.

Sanbona Wildlife Reserve has a private landing strip near the Bellair Dam. Air charters can be arranged with registered charter companies or private aircraft with overnight guests are welcome. Prior arrangements must be made with the Sanbona Wildlife Management.
