This was a most relaxing, luxurious stay. The attention to detail is on a another level.The room itself is fabulous , the view to die for.The bathroom , especially the bathtub is most luxurious . The view while lying in a hot bath are emaculate. The gas fire place is a warm , cozy touch,! The food was absolutely delicious ! We enjoyed our game drive to the north, with an amazingly close view of a troupe of elephants! And a surprise siting of a cheetah lazily basking on top of a hill in the sun. The staff are very attentive , nothing is too big of an ask. Gerry's hospitality is big and welcoming. We enjoyed our evening conversations with her! Thank you for everything , we will definitely be back!!

The Blue Headed Baboon
“Once upon a time, deep in the heart of the African savanna there lived a peculiar creature known as the blue-headed baboon. With it's vibrant azure cranium standing out against the lush greenery, this baboon was a sight to behold. My wife and I stayed at the White Lion Lodge last week. After leaving the lodge I realized that I failed to say Thank You for the birthday gift that was left in our room. It was my birthday last Friday and the staff there at the lodge left a small box of chocolates in our room as a gift. It was such a special gesture that blessed me. The customer service at the lodge by the entire staff was excellent. Each person seemed to enjoy their work and enjoyed tending to guests. Our stay there was a highlight of our time in South Africa. Thanks again for your attention to small details such as birthdays.

A big warm thank you for arranging my visit to White Lion Lodge this past weekend, and for allowing me to share it with my Mom.
It was an absolute gift to be there soaking up the setting and surrounding wilderness and learning about the reserve and all the beauty that it holds. The lodge itself is wonderful with every detail considered, Gerry’s magic touch is so prevalent throughout - in the design, service, delicious food and close-knit team that she has gathered to ensure guests have the very best during their stay. As we did.
Our guide Romeo was attentive and extremely knowledgeable and the safari into the North brought excellent game viewing. Although the wildflowers, open spaces and rolling hills in the South are where the soul-soothing happens. Sitting in the hot tub with my mom overlooking the hills and watching the sunset over the horizon was such spoiling too!
